The Rs. 999 plan gives you 5000 local and national calling minutes, 1500 local and STD SMS, unlimited Airtel to Airtel calling, 1000 free national roaming minutes and 3000 free incoming calls. Again, this plan lasts for one year. The cost of this plan is Rs. 999.


If you want to take this plan, then just make sure that you are on the Rs. 999 plan, else you are overpaying by Rs. 393.


If you want a plan for only local and STD calls, then the plan with 200 minutes is good for you. You get unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls for the same price as the Rs. 499 plan.


Airtel also has data friendly plans for both the prepaid and postpaid clients. The data friendly plans are priced at Rs. 99 and Rs. 399 respectively, but they will give you 2 GB of data, 1000 local and STD minutes, 1000 free SMS and 100 free Airtel to Airtel minutes. However, if you do more than 300 local and STD calls in a month, then the call value drops to Rs. 20 per call. The total value of these plans is Rs. 400.


In case you want to go for postpaid plan, then you have the Rs. 499 plan that gives you 2500 local and national calling minutes, 750 free SMS, Unlimited Airtel to Airtel calling and 2 GB data. The Rs. 999 plan offers the same benefits.
